GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Ganapathy English Medium School is recognized by the Department of Public Instruction, Mangalore – Karnataka and it currently follows the state board curriculum. The academic year is divided into 2 terms. The first term is usually from June to September and the second term is usually from October to April.

• Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region, subject to the rules of Saraswat Education Society and the availability of seats in each class.
• Application forms for admission can be obtained from the office on payment of the prescribed fee or downloaded below.
• Admission to Nursery, L.K.G., and Class I commences in January itself. As per the latest circular by the Department of Education, a child should complete 4 years by May 31st of that academic year while seeking admission for L.K.G. Parents should note that the date of birth entered in the school records will remain the same throughout the academic career of the student. During the admission to Class I, the child should complete 6 years as on 31st May of that academic year.
• Original birth certificate and a photo copy thereon, along with a passport size photo have to be submitted along with the application for admission.
• Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form and submitted along with the Transfer Certificate from the school last attended. Every pupil on admission shall pay the prescribed fee.
