Welcome to Ganapathy English Medium School (GEMS)
Conveniently located in the heart of the city, it is in close proximity to the Mangaluru Central Railway Station and the Hampankatta bus stand, and is easily accessible by auto-rickshaw as well. Ganapathy English Medium School has classes from Nursery to Class X with experienced and trained faculty. It is managed by the 100+ year old Saraswat Education Society (Regd), Mangaluru which has been running Ganapathy Pre-University College at Mangaluru, Anandashram High School at Kotekar, Parijnan Pre-University College Kotekar and Parijnan Vidyalay established in 2017 at Kotekar. The Saraswat Education Society has carved a niche for itself in the field of Education since 1870.
Ganapathy English Medium School is again proud to announce 100% result in the S.S.L.C Board Exam conducted for the Academic year 2021-22, a repeat feat like the prior year. Students from our institution regularly participate and win prizes at Taluka and Cluster levels at the Prathiba Karanji competitions.
The school is housed in a 2-acre campus with ample space for children to enjoy the lush greenery and also participate in sports on the huge playground under the guidance of an experienced physical education instructor.
The vision of the school is “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah” i.e. to uphold Sanatana Dharma and build a strong Nation, by imparting value-added quality education in a stimulating learning atmosphere for evolution of young minds in terms of moral and ethical growth, emotional enrichment, intellectual gain and social power.

Ganapathy English Medium School is a school under the Saraswat Education Society (SES), Mangaluru which is over 100 years old and dedicated to the noble cause of education. Ganapathy English Medium School, started in 1989, has stood the test of time and has grown over the years to offer comprehensive education to its students. This augmentation has been possible because of the unconditional support of our patrons, well-wishers, staff, ex-students and donors at the Saraswat Education Society.
The Mission at SES has been to nurture and groom every child into a loving, caring and courageous citizen, capable of facing challenges in life with confidence; imbibing the qualities of truthfulness, humility, integrity and deep concern for fellow beings, so that they could achieve their full inner potential later in Life.
Apart from imparting quality education, we want the young child to know about his/her local culture and traditions as well as values needed to be a good citizen of India. We believe that every child has his/her own natural gifts and talents. We strive to enable each of them to explore and develop their potential based on this fundamental principle and in light of the changing world we offer education in a safe and child friendly environment. The teachers envisage a clear shared sense of purpose between the parents and students in their learning.
The school conducts a variety of activities in music, dance and culture which are shared on our Facebook Page; do visit it to know the extent to which we go to give that ‘extra’ experience to the children, apart from teaching them subjects from the syllabus.
